  1. Sign in to the Mothership Portal and click on the relevant workspace.
  2. Click on Suppliers in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the supplier whose configuration you need to complete.

  1. Review and adjust the product export settings:
    1. Set retail prices on export to - Which price should Mothership use as the retail price when it creates a product in your store?
    2. Automatically adjust retail prices to mirror supplier's retail prices? - Should mothership update the retail price of a product in your store whenever the retail price of the product in the supplier store changes?
    3. Sync inventory? - Should mothership update the inventory counts in your store to reflect the inventory counts in your supplier's store?

Understanding Statuses

When importing products, you will see status indicators in two areas:

Status Bar at the Top of the Page

Displays the overall connection status of a product, last sync time, and other relevant information.

A selected product can be in one of the following states.

STATUS

DEFINITION

Connection status:
Not Connected
No active mapping exists between the selected product's variants and retailer-platform variants. This may be because the product has never been exported or was previously disconnected.
Partially Connected
Some but not all selected variants are mapped to retailer-platform variants. This can happen if new variants were created post-initial-export and are not yet linked, or if an invalid source variant prevents mapping.
Connected
A 1-to-1 mapping exists between the retailer platform's variants and the supplier’s variants. Mothership is actively managing and accepting orders for these variants.
Error
An issue occurred that prevented successful mapping
Suspended
The product has been suspended by the retailer's ecommerce platform because it has violated the platforms terms-of-use in some way.
Inventory status:
In stock
The product is available for sale.
Out of stock
The product is currently unavailable.
Supplier product:
Valid
The product has all of the information Mothership requires
Invalid
The product or variant are missing required information.

Variant Connection Statuses

Indicates the connection statuses of individual product variants to corresponding variants in your ecommerce store.

Variant Connection Statuses

STATUS

DEFINITION

Connected
The variant is successfully linked between the supplier and retailer.
Not Connected
The variant is not linked.
Error
Mothership does not have enough information to determine the connection status.

Note: Mothership requires all products to have a title, image, and description. Variants need to have a unique SKU, non-zero price, and a weight.
