Mothership Workspaces

Workspaces are isolated Mothership instances that allow you to tailor how you use Mothership in different ways without the need to create separate accounts. For example, workspaces allow you to be both a supplier and a retailer, or to manage multiple supplier or retailer instances under a single account.

How do Workspaces work?

• An account can have one or more workspaces.

  
  

• A workspace can be either a supplier workspace or a retailer workspace and has access to the corresponding supplier or retailer functionality.

  
  

• Each workspace maintains its own set of integrations, partnerships, products, orders, and subscriptions. You can have as many workspaces as you want. Subscriptions are provided on a per-workspace basis.

  
  

• An account's users have access to all of the workspaces associated with the account.

  
  

• You can simultaneously connect a supplier workspace and a retailer workspace to the same e-commerce platform. However, you cannot connect more than one supplier or more than one retailer workspace to the same platform.

  

How do I create another workspace?

1. Open up the Mothership portal and click on the Settings link in the menu on the left.

   
   

   

   
   

2. On the next page, click on the Workspaces link in the menu on the left.

   
   

   

   
   

3. On the next page, click on the New Workspace button in the top right corner.

   
   

   

   
   

4. You should be taken to the workspace onboarding flow. Complete the subsequent steps to connect your ecommerce platform and partners.

   
   

   

   
   

How to change Workspaces

To Change the active workspace, click on the blue or green bar in the bottom left corner of the side navigation menu. A drop-up menu will appear where you can click on the workspace that you want to switch to. Retailer workspaces are blue and supplier workspaces are green.
